This afternoon in the AT&T Classroom the Golden Flashes Jr. STEAM Team created their own stop motion videos using the Stop Motion Studio iOS app. (The app is also available for Android, Windows, and Mac operating systems). The basic (free) version of Stop Motion Studio allows children to take unlimited pictures string them together in a sequence for playback. The app offers a frame-by-frame editor and a sound editor. Children can also add narration to their videos. This afternoon the campers designed storyboards for their stop motion videos by cutting figures from paper and sketching illustrations. The campers then captured a series of photos of their scenes and formatted them into a video using the app’s features.
The campers were excited to present their final productions!
