Cornerstone First Graders Write Narratives with ABCya StoryMaker
This morning in the AT&T Classroom the Cornerstone first graders explored ABCya Story Maker, a free web-based writing and design platform accessible at the ABCya website. Within the platform, children can draw pictures and then write text to describe their scene and create a story. ABCya Story Maker offers a variety of drawing tools that can be used for creating the pictures. Story projects can encompass one page or multiple pages. Finished story projects can be printed and saved. In addition to ABCya Story Maker, the ABCya website offers a tremendous number of activities and games that target skills and concepts in all subject areas for children in preschool through grade five.
