This morning in the AT&T Classroom the Rootstown second graders learned to work with data and design graphs using Google Sheets, a free tool within the GSuite for creating spreadsheets and working with various types of graphs. To begin, Mrs. Stackpole shared with the students a spreadsheet template she created. After making their own copy of the template, the students learned to enter data into the spreadsheet that was collected from a class survey regarding students’ favorite weekend activity. The second graders used the formatting tools to create their own bar graph representing the survey findings.
