Lippman Students Create Animated Cartoons with Toontastic 3D
This morning in the AT&T Classroom the Lippman students were introduced to Toontastic 3D creating digital animated stories. The Toontastic 3D platform offers characters, templates and backgrounds that children can use to draw, animate and create 3D stories and cartoons. Students are also able to add audio to their story by recording their own voices. Using tools such as Toontastic 3D to create digital stories provides opportunities for students to further develop their literacy skills (i.e., reading, writing, speaking & listening) and to also build important “twenty-first century skills” for critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication.
