Lakeview 5th Graders Code Ozobot Maps of Explorers' Routes Across Continents

This afternoon in the AT&T Classroom, the Lakeview 5th graders applied their programming knowledge of the Ozobots to begin creating and coding their own maps for a famous explorer. As part of their work in Social Studies, each student conducted online research  at the Enchanted Learning website on a European explorer. Using the facts from their research, the students are working in pairs to create a map of the route encompassed in their explorer’s travels. The students are programming the Ozobot to travel the route with stops at relevant continents and locations. The students will also share content at each programmed location to convey important facts regarding the explorer’s journey and discoveries.
