Cornerstone Second Graders Use ABCya Story Maker for Creative Writing

This morning in the AT&T Classroom the second graders learned to use the ABCya Story Maker tool for a writing assignment.  ABCya Story Maker is a free web-based tool that students can use to draw pictures and then write text to describe and support their scene. ABCya Story Maker offers a variety of drawing tools that can be used for creating the pictures. Story projects can encompass one page or multiple pages. Finished story projects can be printed and saved. This morning the second graders used ABCya Story Maker to write their own ending for the book they read for their Authors project they have been working on in their classroom. The second graders used the drawing tools to illustrate their story’s ending. Students were able to save and print their finished projects to take back to Cornerstone.
