To share their scientific research on soil, the Lakeview sixth graders are using “green screen” technology to share their findings. Green screen is a cinematographic technique using video editors to add a variety of visual effects to a video project. The added effects may include virtual backgrounds, animated backdrops, superimposed objects, etc. The Lakeview students are using the Green Screen iOS app by DoInk to create their green screen presentations. The app allows you to create a green screen effect by combining images from multiple sources into a single video. Image sources may include photos or videos from your camera roll or from the live video camera.
