This morning in the AT&T Classroom the sixth graders were introduced to a new tool for animation and digital storytelling. Released by Google less than two weeks ago, Toontastic 3D builds upon the original Toontastic iOS app released in 2011. Toontastic 3D offers newly designed characters and expanded templates and backgrounds that students can use to draw, animate and share 3D stories and cartoons. Students are also able to add audio to their story by recording their own voices. Toontastic 3D is available as a free app for iOS and Android tablets as well as some Chromebook models.
