The CDC Kindergartners started their afternoon in the AT&T Classroom by reviewing important bricks and elements of the LEGO WeDo Robotics kits that they will be using to create and program their LEGO models. Today the children were also introduced to a new part in the kit - the worm gear - which they will be using to add motion to their models. As the children worked with the LEGOs they captured digital photos of their projects to create a PicCollage of their work. The kindergartners were introduced to PicCollage on their first day in the AT&T Classroom. It is a free app that can be used to create digital collages on a variety of device platforms including iOS, Android, Windows 10, and Amazon Kindle Fires. Features of the app allow children to customize their collages by adding text, backgrounds, and stickers.
