Defer Intermediate Students Kick-Off Planet Research Presentations

This afternoon in the AT&T Classroom the Defer 5th graders finalized their planet research projects and began sharing their presentations. Students who researched the planet Mercury presented their findings today with one project created with Popplet and ThingLink, another with Google Slides and the third project created in Adobe Slate. The afternoon ended with the first presentation on the planet Venus created using Haiku Deck. After all of the projects on a specific planet are presented, the class summarizes the important facts about that particular planet in a shared Google slide so that the students have access to the facts for all of the planets as they prepare for the unit assessment. The students all did a very thorough job with their research and it was so interesting to see all of the different tools and formats encompassed in today's presentations. Looking forward to Tuesday's presentations!
