Defer Intermediate Fifth Graders Use Padlet to Organize Science Research
This afternoon in the AT&T Classroom, the Defer Intermediate fifth graders began their work on a planet research project integrating English Language Arts and Science. Each student was assigned a planet that is the focus of their research in English Language Arts (ELA). This afternoon the students worked with the facts from the research they conducted in their Defer ELA class and began using digital tools in the AT&T Classroom to organize and present their findings. Each student has created their own Padlet wall where they are posting their research facts. Padlet is a free web-based tool that functions as a virtual wall or bulletin board where students can several forms of media including text, images, and videos.
