Rootstown Second Graders Use Haiku Deck for Collaborative Writing Project

The second graders started their morning with a collaborative writing project focused on informational writing. The students are working as a class to create a Haiku Deck that details their daily schedule. The class is developing a Haiku slide for each activity in their daily schedule and as a class they are drafting the informative text to provide key details for each activity in their day (e.g., who, what, when, etc.). The finished Haiku Deck will be shared with the Rootstown kindergartners and the CDC Kindergarten class to provide the younger students a glimpse of what their daily routine may look like when they are in grade school.
