This morning in the AT&T Classroom the Walls second graders used Telestory to create their own video news weathercast about the weather topic they had researched. Telestory is a free app designed to allow children to create and star in their own TV/movie production. The app has several themed templates with scenes, cue cards, and sound effects. Students used the camera feature to insert themselves as the meteorologist in the news story and the microphone feature to add their own narration to the news broadcast. Telestory is available for free download from itunes.
