Woodland Second Graders Learn Coin Values with Digital Game
During their math time today in the AT&T Classroom, the Woodland second graders continued working with concepts related to money and coins. Today the students were introduced to a new digital resource - Peter Pigs Money Counter on the Primary Games website. The game provides opportunities for students to learn facts about U.S. currency and also practice sorting and counting coins. Players learn to recognize and sort coins based on value and gain practice in adding up multiple coins.
