This afternoon in the AT&T Classroom the Woodland second graders learned to use PicCollage to create a photo collage. PicCollage is a free app that can be used to create collages of photos taken on iOS, Android and Windows 10 devices. Mrs. Marshall gave the second graders an overview of the various features of the app that can be used to add text, backgrounds, and stickers. Students selected their favorite photos from their camera roll taken from their campus walk last Friday to create their photo collage.
The students ended their afternoon by exploring a math website for practice with money values and concepts. ABCYa Learning Coins is a free website with interactive activities designed to introduce students to the dollar bill and US coins and prepare them for money counting practice. In addition to math, the ABCya website offers activities and games that target skills and concepts in other subject areas for children in preschool through grade five.
