Woodland Second Graders Create Digital Book Covers
This afternoon in the AT&T Classroom the second graders learned how to use another feature of the Pic Collage app for a new reading project. Earlier in the week the students had created a collage with the app using photos saved to their camera roll. Today the students learned how to use the search feature within the app to conduct an online image search. Mrs. Marshall demonstrated for the students the process for searching online for images and how to select and use key terms for an effective search. She also demonstrated how to select images found through the online search and import them into the app to be used for the collage. After conducting their image searches, the second graders each used the Pic Collage app to create a new book cover for their story-of-the-week Fall Harvests.
