Today in the Lego WeDo Robotics STEM Camp, the builders worked on the Ferris wheel project.
The campers are programming the coding sequence within the Lego WeDo software to build a Ferris wheel that rotates and stops for passengers. The model uses a motor to rotate a spur gear and a gear that rotates a larger spur gear. The larger spur gear then rotates an axle which rotates the entire Ferris wheel. The project is a complex one but the campers love the challenge and are so excited about their work.
