In our final camp session today, the campers continued to advance through the levels of the Hopscotch app to create more complex animations and games. At the end of the session, the campers were able to explore their favorite coding apps from across the week.
Providing opportunities for children to learn coding skills fosters their abilities for mathematical reasoning, critical thinking, divergent thinking, and problem solving. It also builds children’s skills in math for computation, angles, and coordinate grids.
