Riverview First Graders Share Digital Media Projects

Over the past few weeks, the Riverview first graders have explored several tools for creating digital media, including Educreations, Google Slides, Haiku Deck, Pic Collage, ShowMe, and Toontastic.  This week the students had the opportunity to select one project from their work with Toontastic or Haiku Deck to share with their classmates. Their work has been outstanding and the students were so proud displaying their projects on the large presentation screen and Apple TV. Using technology to create digital media provides an opportunity for students to utilize auditory, verbal, visual and kinesthetic modalities in combination to create a very personalized and meaningful product that reflects their thinking and their learning.
