Riverview First Graders Explore Math Apps in AT&T Classroom

Today in the AT&T Classroom Riverview first graders explored several free math apps including Math Bug, Thinking Blocks Addition, PatternShapes, MathAnimations, Dinosaur Kids Math Free Lite, Number Pieces, & Geoboard. These apps have been reviewed by educators in conjunction with Kent State University’s MathApps project. Finding engaging and useful math apps can be challenging so Kent State has created a website to help. The site uses reviews and ratings from teachers to provide information and recommendations on K-12 math apps. Several Stow-Munroe Falls teachers have been part of our project team and have been assisting in reviewing apps for the site. We hope you will find this site to be a useful resource for locating apps that provide your child with engaging opportunities for math enrichment.
