Over the past few days in the
AT&T Classroom the Riverview first graders have been creating “All About
Me” collages using the PicCollage app on the iPads. The students have also been working on their informational writing skills while working on the collages.
In today’s lesson, Mrs. Nichols discussed the importance of “labels” in informational writing and discussed how the students could use labels in their collages. Today the students put the finishing touches on their collages. The students were very creative in designing their collages and made excellent use of various symbols, stickers, images and colors to represent information they wanted to share about themselves. The children were so proud of their projects and enjoyed viewing their classmates' collages projected on the big screen and the Apple TV.
