Echo Hills Fourth Graders Capture Geometric Photos on Campus

The Echo Hills fourth graders have been studying geometric shapes and angles in math. Today the class took advantage of the beautiful day on campus and went on a photo-walk. Using the camera feature on their iPads, the students walked around campus and captured photos of various polygons,quadrilaterals, angles and lines. Back in the AT&T Classroom, the students shared their photos by projecting them on the Apple TV and presentation screen. The class had a rich discussion surrounding the photos as each presenter pointed out the specific geometric concept underlying his/her photo. Later in the week the students will be using their photos to create interactive digital geometry games to share with their classmates.
