Today during their science lesson in the AT&T Classroom, the Echo Hills fourth graders built circuits and then created digital tutorials to explain the process of building a circuit capable of lighting 3 bulbs. As the students built the circuit, they captured photos of the process using the camera feature on their iPads. Once they finished building the circuit and capturing their photos, the students used the StoryKit app to create the tutorials. StoryKit is an iOS app that allows the user to create digital stories and presentations and share them with others. The app combines a simple drawing program with text-entry features. In addition, you can import photos from your device's photo library and then add text to create the narrative. The finished project can be saved and emailed and then opened on any iOS device or on a computer by accessing the emailed URL for the project.
