RCET was excited to welcome students from the Future
Teachers Program of James Ford Rhodes High School, Cleveland Metropolitan
School District. The students were on the Kent State University campus March 16-17 as part of their participation in a two-day institute offered by the Office of Diversity,
Outreach & Development in the College of Education, Health, & Human
Services. While in RCET’s AT&T Classroom, the students created promotional videos highlighting programs and courses offered at James Ford
Rhodes High School. Students learned to use several digital tools to create
their videos including Animoto and iMovie for iPads and Windows Movie Maker for
PCs. Both the students and their work were very impressive!
