Today in the AT&T Classroom the Fishcreek third graders each created a digital story about their experience over the past six weeks. Students interviewed one another, captured photos of tools and devices used across the six weeks and also captured screen shots of projects created during their time in the AT&T Classroom. The finished documentaries will be shared with the first and second grade classes who are coming to the AT&T Classroom in Spring 2015. The third graders used StoryKit on the ipads to create their documentaries. StoryKit is a free iOS app that allows the user to create digital stories and presentations and share them with others. The app combines a simple drawing program with text-entry features. In addition, you can import photos from your device's photo library and then add text to create the narrative. The finished project can be saved and emailed and then opened on any iOS device or on a computer by accessing the emailed URL for the project.
