Healthcare In Progress Students visit the AT&T Classroom

RCET hosted students from the Healthcare In Progress program this past week in the AT&T Classroom. The Healthcare In Progress (HIP) program is a collaborative effort of Akron Public Schools, Kent State University's Office of Outreach & Diversity in the College of Education, Health, & Human Services, Summa Health Systems, Akron General, and Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). HIP is open to high school students from Akron Public Schools who are interested in a profession in a health-related field. The 2014 HIP class spent two days in the AT&T Classroom conducting research on healthcare professions and preparing presentations to share their research findings with their families at a closing session in the Kent State Student Center on Saturday.
