Using the information they have learned through their reading and research in science, the Lakeview fifth graders are each creating their own interactive digital game to test their classmates’ mastery of the concepts recently targeted in their science unit. Today the students used Google Slides to outline the content for the game they will develop. Students are required to select 10 key concepts and create a question item for each concept. Questions can take a variety of forms including puzzles, multiple choice, true/false,and yes/no. To draft the content and design for their game, students created a Google Slide for each question that included the written question, answer choices and images. This afternoon the fifth graders also explored Tiny Tap, the tool they will be using to build their digital game.
