During
their Daily 5 time in the AT&T Classroom, Walls third graders are using the
website StoryLines Online for Read-to-Self. The site is one of the signature children’s
literacy programs offered by the Screen Actors Guild Foundation and offers
children the opportunity to access videos of actors reading stories and books. Additionally, the students are using the Vocabulary/Spelling City iPad App for Word Work practice. A favorite Word Work game is Hang Mouse, a game similar to HangMan that incorporates each students' spelling words for targeted practice.
